If there’s one thing that almost everyone can agree on, it’s that we all love the look of full, voluminous eyelashes. But, unfortunately, we’re not all born with them.
And while some of us won’t even leave the house without applying falsies to amplify and intensify our fine, sparse lashes, a lot of people aren’t too keen on putting glue on their eyelids.
Now we don’t have to.
Magnetic eyelashes are a big trend in beauty right now. They’re easy to apply, reusable and once you get the hang of how to put them on, you can snap them on in a matter of seconds!
In our never-ending quest to always look our best, here’s our roundup of the 13 best magnetic eyelashes.
How Do Magnetic Lashes Work?

Magnetic lashes are false lashes that create a more powerful, beautiful eye. They’re similar to traditional falsies, but they don’t require any lash glue. Instead, they’re made with tiny magnets that attach to the lash line.
Whether you’re into glitz and glam or prefer a more natural look, magnetic lashes come in all different styles, and many come in multi-piece sets, so you have different options for different moods.
Magnetic lashes work in two different ways. Some come in pairs so that you can put one lash above your natural lashes and one lash below your natural lashes. Magnetic strips line each end where you apply them to the lash line and then clip together to sandwich your natural lashes in the center.
The other type requires that you apply magnetic eyeliner. This type of magnetic lash attaches to the eyeliner, just above your natural lash, exactly where you would apply any type of falsies.
Both versions offer bold and dramatic style, making them an easy alternative to old-school false lashes that require glue.
Magnetic lashes range from super affordable to super expensive, but with proper care, storage and cleaning, you can reuse them over and over again.

As with all beauty products, expect a learning curve when applying magnetic lashes. The first time you apply them, it can be a bit tricky. But just think back to the first time you highlighted and contoured your face… that probably didn’t work out so well either!
When applying magnetic lashes, you can do so with your finger or with an applicator tool (both ways are super easy).
Just be sure to apply mascara to your natural lashes before you put on your magnetic ones. Magnetic lashes can be washed and reused over and over again, and mascara can make them clump and stick together, so it’s best not to apply mascara to them directly.
Before you attach magnetic lashes, hold them up to your eye and bend them to the shape of your natural lash line. If they are too long, trim the length. When it’s time to apply them, start in the outer corner of your eye and work your way inward.
To pull this off like a pro, be sure to attach your lashes as close as you possibly can to your natural lash line. Ideally, there should be no space between your natural lashes and the magnetic lash above them.
Safety Tips
You should never put anything sharp near your eyes. So, if you turn to a YouTube tutorial on how to apply magnetic lashes and the beauty “expert” uses tweezers to apply them, find a different video! This is a dangerous idea. One slip and you could be canceling your plans for the night and heading to the ER instead.
Sure, tweezers are a good way to grip a slim, slender lash by its edge, but the second you bring it towards your eye, you put yourself at risk for an unwanted accident.
There are only two safe ways to apply magnetic lashes: with your fingers or with an applicator tool designed specifically for lashes. The tweezer method is never a good idea.

Are Magnetic Lashes Safe?
Magnetic eyelashes are safe — in fact, they’re safer to wear than traditional falsies that require glue.
One mistake with the glue, and you could have a serious eye injury. Make a mistake with a magnetic lash, and all you’ll end up with is a wonky eyelash that’s not placed properly on your lid. A much better alternative than having to do an eyewash or run to the doctor!
Whether you go for a full glam look or apply half falsies as accent lashes, magnetic lashes are easy to apply and easy to remove. They’re perfect for beauty fanatics who are always willing to try something new and refuse to look anything less than their absolute best.
